Children's Personal Information Protection Rules
Last updated: July 12, 2026
PolygonKid ("we") understands the importance of protecting children's personal information. These Rules explain how we collect, use, store, and protect the personal information of children under 14 when they use our educational services for ages 7–12.
These Rules are an integral part of our Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, these Rules shall prevail.
1. What we collect from children
When a child uses PolygonKid products (WeChat Mini Program, Android app, or web), we only collect the following necessary information:
- Grade level — The current grade (1–6) selected by the parent or child, used solely to match appropriate question bank content.
- Learning activity data — Quiz records, assessment results, favorited questions, wrong-book entries, and hexagon ability scores — used to generate learning profiles and ability assessments.
- Device information — Device model and OS version, used to ensure proper product operation and version compatibility.
We do not collect children's location, contacts, photo albums, microphone, camera, or other sensitive permission data.
2. How we use children's information
- Provide personalized learning content and ability assessment reports;
- Optimize question difficulty and content recommendations;
- Ensure the product operates securely and reliably;

We do not use children's personal information for any commercial marketing, advertising, or user profiling.
3. Storage and protection
- Children's personal information is stored on servers within China and is not transferred across borders;
- We employ industry-standard encryption and access control measures to prevent leakage, tampering, or loss;
- Only authorized personnel may access children's information under necessary circumstances — all access is logged;
- Children's learning activity data is retained for 3 years, after which it will be anonymized or deleted.
